I use NGK (2641) DCPR9E Standard Spark Plugs, They have a nice tan color after running them for a while. The cylinder temperatures are affected by the heat range of the plug, to help keep detonation in check you should run the coolest plug that does not foul. I have always used NGK plugs when available, I could not find them locally so went to Amazon. | ||

I like to go with the lowest heat rating possible. The only concern is fouling. With Iridium plugs though, there is much less concern about fouling. You might even be able to get away with a larger gap too on Iridiums. Not sure how much benefit that would provide though. I'm not spark plug expert. | ||

use the 9s if the temp is over 70 degrees. | ||
