Hey folks, I may have a line on a 97 M2 frame here in Quebec, anybody know the differences between 97 & 99 frames?

In 99 the frame changed to accommodate the new exhaust. There was also an extra tube on the left side connecting the frame to the front downtubes.

And it has a wider tail. And a bigger fuel tank. And a different swingarm.

I'm not sure but the frames may be notched different at the head tube. The front isolator mounts different depending on the frame notch style. You can probably find the front isolator instructions in the Knowledge Vault. The instructions explain the years that mostly have one style vs. the other, I believe.
