Whats up everyone. My bike is making a strange noise. Hard to say if it's coming from drive side or not because it only happens while riding. It's mostly active and loud in 3rd gear and often abruptly ceases when downshifting as if a trigger (definitely a trigger). Sounds exactly like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WQvalw_FQ_Q Ive been told to check front pulley nut? Anyone that has experienced the same noise? Anything else I should check? |

Primary chain too tight? |

Did it just start suddenly, or has it done that since you got it? Or, did it start just after some maintenance was done to the bike? Check all in the driveline, the belt tightness (should be "too" loose) and the Primary chain has to be way more loose than the shop manual says. The front pulley nut should be easy to check. Clutch adjustment? Rear wheel bearing? |

Yup, it was the front pulley nut. It seems to be gone for now, but I'll have to take it out on a longer ride to put it to the test. Thanks guys |
