Tried reading as much as I could to find out, but I didn't see it. Any more info about the xb wheel swap? It looks like you have the original X1 forks (i am guessing simply due to the color), or am i seeing wrong? |

Neither the forks nor the triples are factory. |

Is that an XB dash--was that a tough swap? |

Chris said before that it was a wire for wire swap, but because the motor is originally from an S1, he has no provisions for an electronic speedometer, thus the Speedo does not work. |

The color match tail piece makes me think Buell should have done this when they came out with it. Little too efficient, trying to make that one part do too many things but left it mildly ugly. This one is great. |

Thanks guys, I appreciate It was & is a very fun ride. All questions above were answered by inmates )) The dash was "basically" wire for wire but not totally, as of now still no speedo & low fuel light. There ended up being 3 threads on this build, check em out for the blow by blow... |

If I may make a small suggestion, you should consider rerouting or lengthening the front brake line. It looks like it's going to rub on the fork leg. Would be a shame to mark up such a beautiful machine. |

As a general rule I don't like flashy neon coloured frames on bikes. Yours however looks great with the carbon fibre. Nice job. |

Jeff, I tried it on the inside but it was rubbing on the CF fender, this is the lesser of the evils John..not flashy neon...NUKE BLUE )) (Message edited by k12pilot on November 07, 2015) |

Hmm. Maybe try a shield of adhesive plastic film in between the cable and the fork? |
