Hey brothers
A couple of years ago i had an S3 and was looking for lowering forks.
I never could find any. Now im looking for some for my 2002 M2. Also, since then a couple of members made some that were adjustable so im looking for either a premade one like a WesTek or a hand fabbed adjustable one if nice.
Any info would be appreciated.

"i" lowered the front end on my 97S3T by just loosing the 4 triple tree bolts and let the fork tubes touch the handle bars which is about one inch ...

I lowered the front of My X1 in a similar fashion. Probably took a half inch off the seat height.

Hey brothers.
Sorry. I mis-spoke.
I dont want to lower the front end.
The "lowering forks" i was referring to are a doglegged two tine "fork" that extends the length of the rear shock. Some incorporate a threaded rod allowing varying degrees of extension and lowering ability.

I've never seen one of those before. I think you have to get a longer shock, or a different mount to lower the bike.

See this thread.
