Bought this 1992 RSS1200. Hoping to find a copy of the owners "manual" that Buell gave to purchasers at that time. Anybody have?

Just Beautiful! - The best of the Barn Buells in my opinion. May I ask what you had to pay? Is this the one I saw that was recently listed for $8,900? Just trying to gauge the market as I am in the hunt for an RS/RSS also |

$7500 - but for comparable condition and mileage, I would tell you to expect to pay more for a clean specimen. |

Court's been lost in Acadia National Park for 3 weeks practicing retirement. If you've never checked out a 1,000 foot iron bar ladder up a vertical granite face ....... :-) |

You could have a visit at a local copy center and ask to have a copy or two! If they are a serious business then they can do it almost like original. |

Hey Old_dog I am waiting on delivery of a Pearl White 1991RS1200 I just bought on Ebay and it comes with the owner's manual. I'll make you a copy. It's in Maryland now, have to get it out to Colorado. It's got a few more miles than yours, 9960 supposedly. I can't wait to ride it. Primal, huh? really can't wait.

I am quickly finding out what a PITA shipping a bike can be. After 3 days of emails I have enough info to fill out the shipping contract. then comes a 2-4 week wait for pickup and delivery. I hate waiting... BTW, Court, the owner is Nelson Goldberg, sold by Mike Nobile @ Williamsport H-D/B. Mike is also handling this deal. Zack |

Very Nice! Interesting to see they come with Chains! i have my shift on my lowly M2 reverse GP style love it as i like going to the track when i can . I find easier to have bike in first, then lift foot from ground as start off, then put foot on top of shift to push down for quick first second shift. rather than having to get foot under the shift to lift up first to second. i ride my bike all year. if belt breaks i go chain!! |

Hey Old_dog... Do you still need a copy of the Owners Manual? I got the bike yesterday and the manual should arrive tomorrow. Zack BTW, the bike is very clean and in great condition. Dan warned me that the tank lining would most likely be bad. it is. so no riding until I can tap in a temp gas reservoir. maybe a urethane bladder... (Message edited by zac4mac on October 13, 2015) |

Glenn Sorry about the disconnect. Took the new 1190RS to Texas Mile and I'm just getting back. It was a good trip, didn't go as fast as I hoped but went a little faster than here in Colo - 172.7mph in the mile. I'll work on getting the owners manual copied for you. No riding the "new" RS1200 as the tank looks like it's full of Locust leaves. She's in beautiful shape otherwise, clutch cable is weeping. I plan on pulling the tank to start re-lining but will attach a temp gas tank and ride her soon, I hope. Zack <edit? just noticed your pic shows you are set up with GP-shift. I just changed my 1190 to GP-shift and I kept wanting to "toe-up" for 2nd when I KNEW it was all down... (Message edited by zac4mac on November 08, 2015) |

Got busy with some new acquisitions (and wow, that damned 1190!). Back on task here. Court or Zack, any luck with Owners or Service Manuals for the RSS. I'd gladly cover reproduction costs + if I could fill in the documentation needs for this bike. Thanks, Glenn |
