The bags are ready to be ordered!! This is a new thread to ensure folks see that these are ready to be ordered. see original thread here of the entire process. http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/47623/747234.html?1433853890 This project took some time for a few reasons, lots going on with the company I was dealing with, I started out trying to track down the original company, (spoke with them, but they were not interested due to low numbers and the fact that the bags were probably sub-contracted out to a foreign company -name not disclosed- and therefore they would no longer have the pattern) had to sort out copyright information, (Thanks for the info Court!) and of course, the most important, right in the middle of the process my wife and I had our first child!! so things have been busy! But....they are finally ready to be ordered and I have examples of the two types that can be ordered. 1 with a single zipper design like the originals and a set with a double zipper for a wider opening. I had the emblems face each other as I think it "balances" the design when looking at the instrument panel. Pricing information: by the way, these bags are made of heavier material than the originals! original bags were $34.00 each plus tax plus shipping if you ordered on line so roughly $75.00 for a set out the door. It's important to note that I am not a vendor, I am not selling these through ebay, and I am not dong this for profit. There was a lot of interest being generated so I decided to take this on to simply pass them on to folks here. I can get the low numbers for order this will generate made almost at the same price as the originals. $85.00 shipped to you from me. Dave, If you check the original link in the "archive through Feb 11" you can see the bags I had made for my S3T. The same company that is making the S2 bags made the S3 bags for me...If you are interested, PM me and I will see if I can get a set of those still. I'm not sure if the S3T bags are still available as OEM or not?? When I had a set of the S3 bags made I couldn't find any and thought they were obsolete so I went down that rabbit hole of making a custom set. | ||

bluzm2. I've got you down for a blue emblem, Bikerrides wants white. Are you saying that you want the later style Pegasus emblem? I'm not sure I can coordinate that, it was something I talked about in the past but with single/double/emblem color choice I start to very possibly over complicate things by adding in an emblem style choice. I will look into it but are you ok with the year correct flying Pegasus if I can't coordinate for the newer emblem design? | ||

Jolly, Someone finally ordered a color for the emblem other than blue so don't feel so weird now! With that said would there be a possibility of the emblem being silver or gray. White's going to get dirty, but my bike is white and purple and doesn't have any blue in it. Not a big deal either way. | ||
