It seems that every year the tube frame Buells keep me on the road.
Right now the Useless is taking it's annual vacation with a broken throttle cable and today my 02 Triumph Sprint decided that it really didn't like charging the battery after all. Victory for the Queen, the Agony of De Feet for me!
Usually it's an S1 that comes to the rescue but this year it's the X1W.
The old Buells had their share of problems but they always seem to be Old Reliable when I need them.
Thank you, Erik Buell, for all of the agita you went through at the MoFoCo.

you know, the only problems my tubers have given me can't be blamed on the bike. I can blame bad mechanics, bad aftermarket parts, bad fuel, and the occasional operator error but not the bike. So ya, Erik did a fine fine job

Yeah, man. They're certainly not perfect, but will almost certainly always get you home.

Lube your throttle cables...your Uly won't quit on you.

Unless the cable has a white inner sheath, then DO NOT lube it. It's teflon.

Too late for cable lube as it went PLINK after only 93,000 miles. They just don't make things like they used to.
It'll be X1 time for a few more weeks as the Useless will have to wait for my finances to settle after a boot buying binge.
