Unless I missed it, what route did you use regarding the XB front end installation, it looks like you are still using the XB steering stem? Looking great though! |

And how are you sealing it? Clear? Bee's wax? Nano polish? |

I love the cut cam cover. It looks like a steel wool rubdown to me (which is a ton of work/time) |

Yes scotch bright pads and alot of elbow grease. I am using Penetrol to seal it that is what was used on the old aluminum ww2 planes to seal all the brushed aluminum and its cheap |

Never heard of Shark Hide I checked it out looks promising I wonder with the heat if it will hold up? That would be my concern. So another project done they are not perfect but they will work for me

Ken, your alignment issue may be because you've got the isolators on the wrong side of the bike. At least, it appears so in the picture...could be a perspective thing. The bolt should be in the lower part of the opening. The idea is that when you sit on it, the frame will push down on the outside of the isolators, flexing them downward, and bringing the bolt towards the center. This is why they're offset to begin with. |

Well I could be having a huge brain fart but the iso say R and l i would assume this all while standing behind the bike? |

Huh. Maybe they're in upside down? I can't really tell from the picture, but it looks like the ears face forward, which is correct, so I figured they were swapped left and right. Do the ears/tabs face forward? |

On some of the tube frames there is/was a issue with the ears of the new style isolators. |

I believe that issue is only with the S2, though some say they're using them without any problems. |
