Looks great! About what I paid for mine with 2600 on the clock. I can't believe what these are selling for and how much fun they are. Ya done good!

The guy I bought it from was the 2nd owner, he said the first owner paid $11,000 at the dealer. Soon after he joined the Marines (thank you), and the bike sat till 2009. The second rode it for a couple years and then its sat since. He had the carbs cleaned out at well as fresh battery, oil and spark plugs. I couldn't pass this one up. I am taking a lot of grief from my wife though ("Why do you need another Buell?!?...")

I was wondering what the retail price was. I could be wrong in what he said the new price was. Thanks.

Excellent deal you got there!

One word of caution. With such low mileage, those are likely the original 13-15 year old tires. Personally, I wouldn't trust them. They'd be excellent tires for a restoration, but likely not for actual use. My $0.02...

Still a SWEET DEAL for sure!

That is how my bike used to look 15 years ago! And speaking of my bike did this bike come with the recalled shock? when I got my ride Buell sent the dealer the SRP kit for my original shock then later on after the upgraded shock was available I requested to Buell the updated shock. They provided the new shock installed free of charge. The reason I am bringing this up is because of the danger of the old shock breaking causing the rider to crash. Good luck!

Well got the bike trailered home Monday, had originally planned to ride it the 60 miles home, but had second thoughts, The guy I bought it from was worried about the original tires and 1313 mentioned the same thing, so better safe then sorry.

The tires did not look too bad except where the tread was seamed together.

Now that bike is home I will give a thorough cleaning, redo the carb and gaskets, new rocker arm cover gaskets (rear is leaking), and upgrade the primary chain tensioner.

I would consider changing that rear tire, too....
