Author Message   S1owner Posted on Sunday, March 22, 2015 - 09:31 pm:        ok so I have replaced the rear isos about 6-7 tomes om S1 and M2 and I never had an issue actually foun d it super easy! But this X1 frame is killing me it seams to be about 1/4" to long it does not line up with the isos. what are all your guys tips and tricks with installing these on the X1   Hootowl Posted on Sunday, March 22, 2015 - 09:41 pm:        Strange. Is the front isolator connected? If so try putting the rears on first. That's the one that had me swearing for hours. I took off all of the other ones on the bike and the engine was flopping around relative to the frame EXCEPT for the one I had to remove!   S1owner Posted on Monday, March 23, 2015 - 08:41 am:        All tie bars are off front iso is loose but may need to pull main bolt. The removeble side plate will be great for changing belts but is a pain for this job   Natexlh1000 Posted on Monday, March 23, 2015 - 08:43 am:        You have to remove that plate to do this job.   Hootowl Posted on Monday, March 23, 2015 - 09:39 am:        I don't know that you have to (you could pretend it's an M2 or S3 frame) but I can't imagine why you wouldn't want to. With all the tie bars removed, the left side isolator will slide right in, and then you pop the plate down on the right side.
