Tape should be here tomorrow have the whole main harness done working on the dash area here is the start of the dash not even close to finished i will shape it once I have the headlight done and fairing that way they work together

Yes it was posted here and he really had no idea what he had. Rocket these brackets were made by purpony same ones he designed for his they are awesome working on the light mounts right now. |

DROOL what frame did that used to be? the seat pan area looks really narrow like an s1 but its got the late style exhaust on it... i'd kill to run that tank :/ |

I have posted this in the XB section and want adds but have had no good luck. I am in need of a SCG XB shock or an XB Lowering collar if anyone can help I would be greatful. |

Been awhile its been crazy no time to build first blew the tranny in the kids truck then after replacing blew the motor! Hot tub cracked and blew the heater! Garage door broke! Know its varsity football season arghhhh want to get it on the road! |

Dadams has the muffler hooking me up with mounts etc. just found out the kid has to have shoulder surgery so we will see on progress i will try to keep this post alive |

Tape and an old blanke twill do the tric to cover everything else up. Sand paper or scotch briite pads to roughen it u pa bit. Degrease the part. Black wrinkle spray and spray away. Multiple layers and cross directional with each layer. Best result however is to take the part loose, IMHO. (Message edited by Rjn on November 18, 2014) |

Ken, I've done them three different ways. Polished, powder coated and wrinkle painted. All three look great depending on the rest of the motor. Yours is much like the S1 I built a while ago. I put a 02 X1 motor in it with the black cylinders. The wrinkle on the cam cover looked great! My M2 is powder coated, I did the polish for someone else, can't even remember who it was now. Long time ago. Polishing it wasn't too bad since it was off the motor. Brad |

Had some energy today pulled the M2 frame and started mocking up the X1 frame I am able to lower it back to stock hieght know. Need to finish the frame then send it for blasting and coating

Back tracked a little as I am using the X1 frame now Got some fab work done today shock mount some brackets etc. fixed my lathe also will be welding up the new shock mount, the fork stop, and a few other things. I will prep the frame for media blasting also. Then I am going to make a front wheel clamp for my lift (Message edited by S1owner on December 27, 2014) |
