I just sold my two Harley's and bought a 2000 Cyclone. I've owned one other Buell before, a XB9SX a few years ago. I loved the bike but it was two small for me and was really uncomfortable. I finally tried a tuber and it was perfect. This ones had some engine mods done, Weisco pistons, S&S cams. heads have been ported and polished and a flat slide carb put on, otherwise she's stock. Thinking about putting the "Manta" tail and cyclops fairing on it from AirTech. |

Sounds good...except for that Cyclops fairing (not to my taste) Put up a picture of your bike! |

I'll get some up tomorrow. Yeah, the cyclops fairing has to grow on you. I still havent made up my mind. I love how comfortable that big stock seat is and hate to change it but I prefer a more streamlined look. |

X1 flyscreen? Is there a tach behind it...? You got the Race air cleaner has the carbon fiber cover, can't see the muffler, but it looks like a Race Header as well. Looks like a good deal. |

Good eye Javee, It does have the X1 tach/speedo behind the flyscreen. |

That looks like a D&D header to me. |

Nice M2, i got one same colour, same air cleaner, but have Woods 43.5 CV carb ( love it ) I have same D&D pipe but my tubes no paint, if the S&S Cam is the 500 lift, i got same cam but its Andrews N6 exactly same timing . i love it, had N4 before that. i've got dyna 2000 ignition i like that too as fits at stock mounting and can adjust . i got stock flyscreen with alloy mount tach speedo & the late gear shift in reverse , one up four down love that too. had Harleys before, too fat & clumbersome now i have the M2 heaps more fun to ride. enjoy it. |

Thanks everyone!! I can't wait for the weather to break so I can get some miles on this thing. I've been on harley's for the last 25 years, I just grew tired of the corporate B.S. and the "modern" Harley crowd. Figured it was time for a change. Almost talked myself into a metric street fighter, then came across this Buell. Maybe it was divine intervention |

Looks great! Partial as I have same color. These bikes are a hoot and for what they cost, have to be the best fun to cost value on the planet. IMO, lots of great used bikes out there and used is the only way to go. |

Sweet bike! Header is definitely a Race header or a Borla; D&D headers have a slightly different shape and a very visible "step" in the primaries, where it jumps from 1 3/4" OD to 1 7/8" OD. Lakes knows what I'm sayin'- he bought his D&D pipe from me . |

Hey Pelan , yes & thanks again, best pipe i've had on the buell yet, not too loud rather. & Strong support for headers. bike gets ridden all year over 100,000 on it now, broke the plastic tail section into 4 pieces (cracked up ) but the rest of bike great. still no time to test at Track see it i gained speed. but will test soon. |
