Does anybody know off-hand the offset and angle of the S2 air cleaner? It looks something like 60* with a 1" offset to the left but I'm just guessing. |

Not to hijack this thread, but will any HD ham can AC cover bolt up at the angle if you have the parts. For instance I have a chrome AC cover and would like to change it, will any HD cover work? |

John, yes, an HD cover will fit the S2 air cleaner assembly. If yours is chrome, it was an HD piece. Did you buy Hank's S2 or did you get a different one? Ebutch, I don't have the A/C currently, was thinking of having one made. I may just order one from Al, who knows. I do have lowers on my bike now. Currently I'm using an NRHS 5" round billet A/C, which I love, but now I'm wanting a bigger filter element. Did you paint your S2T white? Is looks badass!!! Here's mine.

Phelan No didn't buy Hanks, too much for me, probably worth it, but too much for me. Just arrived home about 4 hrs ago from KY with Parkway Blue S2T in tow, 11,000 mi on it. I'm pretty happy. That white one above looks great, I have my BMW done like that. |

EB I will soon as I get a few pics, it's dark here and supposed to be crap weather for next few days I'm told. I like that white bike, my last couple of bikes I've done all white. I really like your red one too, spent some time looking at pics of that I'll tell you. Would love to pick your brain on that swing arm change. |

The angled air cleaner doesn't fit if you are running the 2.5" S3 collector. |

Thank you Butch. I really appreciate the legwork you've done. That said, I should clarify that I'm not really interested in purchasing a stock backplate, as I'm weighing options on a billet air cleaner assembly I have in mind that's kind of a hodge podge of a couple different designs out there along with some changes of my own. That's about as much as I can divulge on the subject at the moment though |
