I have a 97 m2 and I need a dash I added a tachometer but the aluminum dash I found I can't fit my flyscreen with its too big and I don't like it. I can't find any custom dashes online does anyone know where to get one. And bc it's a 97 it's a mechanical speedometer so it's cable driven so newer.oem dashes don't work. Please any advice! | ||

Would adjusting the hight of the windscreen help? For a while I ran an oversized dash (I added a clock from the S3) and I simply moved the clamps on the forks that the dash bolted to. | ||

I just don't like the design of the dash the previous owner purchased it's an odd shape where the tachometer sits higher than the speedometer if they were the sa.e height I wouldn't mind | ||

That sounds like an X1 dash, if the tach is like an inch higher than the speedo. The vendor, TWIN also sells a sort of sheet metal one, not thick billet, it's cheaper than that full kit as well. | ||

You could always replace the speedo with the tach in your existing dash, who needs a speedo anyway.... | ||

Were you still looking for an aluminum dash for your M2? I have the one that was on my M2 before I went with just a speedo. It's been sitting in a box so it needs to be cleaned up and has minor surface scratches. Comes with the cups and rings if you need them. $55 shipped.  | ||

That's the same dash as what I have on my M2, fits the M2 flyscreen. VERY solid, looks like billet aluminum. | ||
