It took a couple of cold calls, a bunch of emails and about a year and half of patience….. but I finally got the signature series plate and documentation for my S2T!
When I bought my S2 (it had been laid down and was pretty beat up) there was a bunch of documents with one being the original bill of sale. I googled the first purchaser and was able to get a hold of him. He said that he might have the signature series docs but was in the middle of a move and it wasn’t a good time to talk. Like I said earlier, some patience and reminder emails here and there (didn’t want to be too aggressive, though I was in the beginning) and lo and behold the timing plate showed up. #365 plate is with its match. Had to show it off with my favorite book |

Court, as have I.... Did you, EB and Dave like the Rectify patches? I can't believe that 18 years later the original owner still had the signature series plate. The plate and display box are in superb shape! |

The patches were AWESOME . . . . I am going to put mine on my Aerostich. I truly marvel at the heart, skills and courage of you guys. When I was at Edson I thought I was the height of bad-ass . . . and you guys are light year ahead of where we ever dreamed of being. There are times we all piss, moan and struggle with our diverse views in this county . . . one of the most amazing or our freedoms . . . . but never do we not all stand behind you guys. One reason that I . . in NYC . . sleep well is because you guys are there. Yeah . . . .I'm betting you could kick me ass with both hands ties behind your back! By the way . . . .remind me to tell you one of the funniest stories ever about a recruit getting hauled to the garbage in a dumpster at Edson. :-) |
