After reading some other posts I suspected the crank seal but when i removed the primary inspection cover oil did not over flow like i expected, in fact the level was a little low. I drained the primary and the oil came out dark brown. Any ideas? That is why "i" recommend running HARLEY-DAVIDSON SYN3 20W50 in a street BUELL ... FOR "SAFETY" THE TRANSMISSION BREATHER SHOULD BE RUN TO A CATCH CONTAINER AND YOU WILL APPRECIATE THIS IS YOU EVER GET OIL ON YOUR REAR TIRE ... Careful, it can oil down the rear tire, making for an interesting 360 donut on an M2 in front of a wide eyed neighbor when trying to limp home. (DAMHIK)
