I believe they were called American shock company, or something like that. They were in Santa Clara or San Jose years ago. I don't think they are around anymore. They made high-performance shocks for cars. I am assuming a Buell enthusiast worked there, so they added this shock to their line??? I had one on my S2 for 50K .......a fine shock. Race tech rebuilds them. $250 is a steal. Ride safe, Jack |

Jvv has it right, I almost bought one a couple years ago but fear of replacement bits stopped me. I now know that unless something was broke the seals can be replaced. Let us know how you like it, Chuck. |
