Got a leak on my new-to-me M2. coming from the bolt that goes into the left side of the front head through the isolator. Guessing the isolator also vents the head? Put a wrench on it and it's tight. Any ideas? |

Shouldn't be venting to/fron the head, unless it's broken I guess. Sometimes rocker box leaks, which are common, look like they're coming from somewhere else. Sometimes people suspect head gaskets or such, and its only the rocker boxes. Got a picture you can post? That would be some pretty unusual... |

Agreed; shouldn't be leaking unless someone did something vewwy, vewwy bad. Those rockerbox covers will piss all over the engine. If you don't have the newer style, just plan on doing them anyway. If they're not leaking now, they will very soon. |

Okay, I'll check the rocker box more closely. Could well be that it's coming from there and the bolt head is the low point for it to flow to. Thanks guys! |

Best part is...the new style are "semi"-reusable! |
