I'm going to need a new rear caliper for my new S2. The one on it is kinda beat-up. Was the same caliper used for the S1s and M2s, and so on? Is it different but a newer model's will fit? Are rebuild kits still available? |

Early tubers - up to the change to Nissin calipers for '98 - all used the same Brembo rear caliper. So, yes, early S1's, M2's and S3's would also have the same rear caliper. A later Nissin caliper should fit with the Nissin mounting bracket, if you wanted to run a later setup, but I would recommend the later Nissin master cylinder and reservoir for proper fluid capacity. The OE Brembo had to have been used on other bikes of the era as well... 1313 |
