Kalali it already had parts taken off of it. He is putting it back together. Not chopping it for the engine. |

On the fitting a sporty motor to a Buell.. I put an '99 X1 in my '98 Sporty and the only mounting issues were the front head bolt is larger on the Buell motor.. I'd heard the rear mount holes were different sizes but I found no differences in the rear mounts and I measured a few sporty cases aswell as the Buell ones to check. |

Ceejay, yes it was in Richmond Va. ) One of 50?? One of 5?? Pretty cool. FYI I am not planning on using that set on this bike. I don't know what way I am going yet, thinking carbon fiber. A BLUE carbon set would match the frame really nice Hint hint |

Nice grab! I was considering it thinking how easy it would(might) be to get it back up and going. You got an even better start, with that honking motor and should be a good time. |

Ok, My juices are starting to get flowing with this X1 build. Fork questions.. What to use.. S2 S1 X1 other.. What about converting tank to carb... Anybody done it? Best way? Also I love the look of the X1 Short tail that is available from a badwebber ) Anybody have one collecting dust anywhere?? Thanks Chris |
