It's amazing what one forgets. What's really amazing is what one finds when they start researching a topic, and what else they find by pure happenstance. I was looking at some of the pics from the Battle of Champions that I had previously scanned... And I turned up something interesting that I had forgotten over the years...   Thanks to the resolution I scanned the pics in, I was able to crop the images to get a little clearer information.   So, the fact that I'd forgotten over the years is that some of the Escort Bikes were used for Pace Bikes for the Battle of Champions. If they maintained their order, upon coming back in, it looks to me like an S1W Enforcer in the front and 3 S3T Defenders behind it. And, of course, there's no way to know which Escort Bikes were used for Pace Bikes - that information is definitely lost to time! 1313 | ||

Brankin: I shot 4 rolls of 36 exposures at the ROC . . . . long before digital camera were around. The prints and negatives are stuffed somewhere in the crap getting cleaned out . . . if I find them, I'll send them to you. Lots of details and you, Dano, Remington and TA show up in many of them. | ||

Hadn't posted here yet but have been in contact with Brankin, about a Peacekeeper I picked up recently, I will try to get a few pics up today and try to figure out how to post them. I am enjoying finding a little more about these bikes. | ||

Court, If any assistance is needed, I'll gladly ride up to 'the city' and lend a hand. I'll do just about anything imaginable to get any more information/documentation on the Escort Bikes. But before I can ride up I need to get a handle on why the XT-BOLT has been consuming batteries as of late... Just let me know, 1313 |
