I keep blowing the accessory fuse. At first I could ride a few minutes then it would blow (no front/rear lights, speedometer, odometer, turn signals, horn, etc.). After blowing a few it would blow as soon as I would turn the ignition on (even after unplugging the horn, rear light and turn signals). I noticed that the rocker switch for the Hi/Low beam was acting funny, I would have to hold it in mid position for the high beams to go on, they wouldn't do it if the switch was fully engaged. I'm thinking the Hi/Low beam rocker switch has failed and is causing the fuse to keep blowing. I was wondering if anyone here has ever had that happen to him/her? I'll try bypassing the switch tomorrow to see if it keep blowing fuses. Thanks in advance for any help. |

Well after unplugging and replugging everything one by one, looks like my cheap-ass HID light kit is causing the problem. It's coming off right now. |

Good to hear that you found the cause of your problem. |

The rocker switch is still not OK, I took it apart and it hits high beam in the middle, then back to low beam when fully engaged. Does anyone have a left side switch assembly for sale (2002 X1). Thanks! |

I don't have one but depending on the cosmetic condition of your current one I might be interested in it for parts. |
