Unique color combination. Did you make seat/tail section yourself? With the pegs in stock position how is riding position with lower sear and bars? Can't tell from pics but are they clip on or clubman or ? Nice cafe racer. With the small tank the tail seems to be slightly out of proportion if I were going to critique anything...good job though. Nice job on the tail section. I like that it doesn't look like everyone else's. Isn't that part of owning a Buell anyway |

tail section I got from air tech. (I had to modify it to fit) the seat I made my self. bottom seat is removable to get to oil tank. rear seat pad is also removable and there is storage in the tail section. seat high is about the same as stock, I built up the frame a bit to keep seat in some what stock location. The bars I got from American sport bike a long time ago the are "clip on style" but not true clip-ons. from the pic I see what your saying about the size of the tail. however the pic is a little deceiving . the tail stops short of the rear tire. if you take a straight edge from the back of the tire the license plate is even. I will take another pic that makes it more clear. thank you very much for your input. cheers |

I think the tail is a bit too large for the bike. Seems a bit out of proportion. Nice work though. To me, tubers don't make good cafe racers. The shape of the tank just isn't conducive to it. |

i agree with hootowl. the tail section is too long. other than that i dig it. |

Can you post some closeup pics of the handle bars you're using? |

The front pulley cover is very good. Love the spark plug wires. I can't see any turn signals, are they built-in somewhere, like in the tail light? What is weird is the air cleaner looks circular in the first pictures, and then oval in the last one. When I saw the circular-looking one, I thought you know it would be kinda cool if you could find a timing cover that matched the same mesh as the air cleaner cover. Might have to make it... As far as proportions, might look better with the rider in place. And anyway I applaud the vision exemplified. Can't say I get the color scheme, but to each their own... |

Brown is the new black! I like the color especially when going old school. |

LED turn signals/license plate lights are in the top license plate bolt holes. The air cleaner was round I didn't care for it so I went to the oval with an UNI filter. (kind of a tip of the hat to the old ham can). The flat brown is an odd color but I was looking for something different/old school. Pulley cover was also from Air tech. |

better look at turn signals. On the tail light the halo is the running light and the center bar light up for brake light. |

bottom of seat is held in place with hook and loop tape. it sounds odd but works very well. holds in place very nice and doesn't slide around at all. Aluminum seat pan, motorcycle seat foam (3/4 inch) wrapped in black. |

back seat pad is held on by earth magnets. metal seat pan (3/4 foam). Makes for very easy access for storage. Water proof box to put cell phone, smokes, paperwork etc... Box is bolted down |

Neat color. I friend of mine did the oil cut out on his norton. He had a little pad, which matched the seat. with velcro. you could take if off and get to the oil, and then have full padding. Like the tail light. From the back, the seat looks fine. A little big looking from the side. I have an extra buell frame, s2 and m2 that I was thinking of building up a cafe racer. I was thinking ducati red for the frame. Big Headlight on the front, no fairing. Big round light. Cafe Tank and seat combo. Have not really thought much of the tank color? maybe polished aluminum.......Black? Powder coat the front forks, black gloss. same with the entire lower of the motor. Black gloss like the vincent. |

If i went to a bigger tank I would need to get rid of the bars and go back to stock. And I do love the bars. Headlight I got off e bay. not an LED headlight it is a "projection" with amber LED for turn signals. It's a cheap light but to my surprise it has worked out well. (I did need to make small modification to the headlight bucket). You can see them at night but for added safety there are 2 small smoke/amber turn signals mounted on the headlight bracket so it can be seen from the side. As for the tail light it is trailer light that I got from advanced auto parts. ( lol ) It looked like it would fit perfectly so I gave it a shot. I really liked the idea of the running light being a halo and the brake light, lighting up the middle. For some reason I have always liked a little modern touches to an old school look. Which is why I have always loved Buell motorcycles. |

the more I look at it the more I like the paint scheme. The silver pinstripes against the black main stripes really adD nice finishing touch. The asymmetrical stripes are a nice old school effect |
