Why not build your own? With all that room under there now you could even fit an oval car can like a Borla or Edelbrock under there. |

With help from Brad the rubber was dismounted and remounted onto the xb wheels and balanced. Worked on her today and she stans on her own all tie points and isolators installed and torqued! Also installed the rox risers. Will post pics when photobucket stops acting up. (Message edited by S1owner on April 19, 2014) |

Working on the kick stand mod. The light mount and my new speedo setup should look pretty clean when done

Bought a new tool love it! Wanted a vertical/ horizontal band saw but they take up so much room and not very portable so after using a hand held from work I went that route then made this stand and foot switch its still portable also just lift it off the stand!

Some of the early pre-production S1s had the sidestand mounted to the primary cover like you've done. I tried getting one for my S2, but I was told it was being changed to the frame because it "loaded" the primary cover causing the cover gasket to leak. I only saw photos of it that some dealership co-workers had taken at the S1dealer intro - so I don't know if it had support going under the cover like you've done. Always wondered if it had enough support would that eliminate any stress-induced leaks. |

I was wondering about that possibility myself. |

I wonder if the elimination of the paper gaskets with the newer metal coated caskets might solve the leaking issue. |
