It's a 1964 Ford Ranchero Deluxe (extra side trim, factory buckets and console). Mildly built 302 with GT40 heads, Edelbrock Performer manifold, Holley 600, Crane cam, long tube headers, 4 speed, front discs, 8.8" rear end. (Message edited by trouble_enabler on February 16, 2014) |

No, I had it painted. It was Liberace White and I had it redone in gloss black about 4 years ago. I originally was going to have the frame done black as well, but really like the white frame against black body work look, so I left it. It went from this to this: (Message edited by trouble_enabler on February 16, 2014) |

Nice car! My current car project is a 71 German Ford Capri with a 289, Erson cam, torker, holley, 5-speed, and 8 inch rear.

I like that a lot. Is it a Perana? |

Oh, and anyone notice the lean angle of my S2 while on the side stand without a brick under it? In pic 1, it's even parked downhill...The pic of it painted white was before I fixed it and parked against an almost 10 degree uphill slope...and it was still leaning too far. |

It's my version of a Perana. I mounted the engine 2 inches lower in the chassis, and with the all aluminum 5-speed and 8 inch rear instead of a 9 inch rear I have a car that weighs just 2,400 pounds. I drilled the front hubs for 5 bolt pattern and put ventilated discs on the front and 15 inch rims. Its a lot of fun and a lot easier to drive than the 66 Fairlane, 460, 4-speed, 9-inch 4:30 gear, I built before this project.

I'm with you on the white frame and black body panels. I think it's a sharp combo! I'm done hijacking your posting now. Sorry!
