Looking to replace my American Sport Bike undertray because my tire rubbed a hole into it when my shock blew. Trying to save $200 and was wondering if anyone has knowledge about these. http://www.ebay.com/itm/TWILL-Carbon-Fiber-Undertr ay-Under-tail-for-Buell-X1-/370972565321?pt=Motorc ycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item565fb01f49&vxp=mt r |

Have the same on my X1 for about 4 years now. Decent fit with minimal trimming. But, I didn't know American sport bike existed 4 years ago. Your money, but always a good idea to help out a sponsor whenever possible. My 2 cents. |

I've bought the cheap Chinese stuff on eBay before, there is a distinct quality, feel difference in the stuff I bought vs the American Sport Bike stuff .... No recent experience though.... I prefer the known quality of American Sport Bike stuff..... If you buy it please post results for us though! |

I don't have that particular piece but I do have the tank covers from eastcarbon and they fit fine after just a little fiddling. I'm sure they are not as good of a quality as the ones that Al sells but I was (and still am) on a tight budget. You get what you pay for but sometimes that's all you can afford. |
