It is an LSL superbike conversion top tree and bars. Right know the xb stem is in there just for mocking it up. I may modify it or I have a M2 stem I could press in. |

If you use the pulleys and belt I said you don't need the idler roller at all. |

Nothing against your setup Jodie just trying something different Stock gearing is 27/61 which is a 2.26 ratio I could run a 65 xb rear with the 27 front which is 2.41 (6.6% shorter)and lose some top end which is not a deal breaker would be a lowend monster as Al said sim to a dirt bike. But if I run an XB rear 65 with a 29 front the ratio would be close to 2.24 almost matching the 2.26 stock. Yes I will need a longer belt and a tensioner but Its just another challenge. |

Looking Good!!! I like where you are going with this! I am currently running an 65 Xb rear and a 29 front on my X1. A uly belt is too small. I had to get a 2006 Harley Dyna belt to make it work. |

My bad. I just looked back at my notes. The Ulysses belt was too long for my setup it was at 135 teeth where as the stock xb belt is at 128 teeth. Too small. The belt from a 2006 dyna is 132 teeth which is just right for my application. If you are using a tensioner then maybe a Ulysses belt will work at 135 teeth and take up some of the slack |

135 belt will be too short for what he is trying to do! The length of the axle to drive pulley is longer then stock! 65/29 is what he wants to use....right? I'm running 55t rear and 26t front and a uly 135t belt! Do the math....the space between each tooth is 14mm he's adding a total of 13 more teeth! I don't think there is a belt made that much longer! Like I said before good luck finding a belt that much longer... I spent a lot of time researching this when I did my build and made it so I could use factory or easy to get aftermarket parts... Just trying to help... |

55/26 similar to 61/29 from memory little taller I think. My bike rode awesome...before I blew the motor up.... |

I did have a ball until it shit itself My new single sided swingarm will be chain drive plus motor will be 1430cc so more reliable then a belt with the extra grunt |

Hey Jodie! S1 - Joesbuell is right on that belt, the wheelbase of the bike bumps to 57.25 from 55" so that's a 4" longer belt right there. A stock length chain will work, I can't remember what I was going to run I think it was a 55/26 or some such. I didn't make it nearly as far as Jodie (life got in the way), but I do know I wouldn't have made it as far without bouncing things off him. I didn't like the extended wheelbase, and not being able to keep the marchesini 3 spokes(or at least by listening to what my pocket book would allow). Sorry to hear about the blown motor but glad to hear that your still flogging your excellent creation Jodie. Enjoy the build S1 owner! IMO it's the coolest mod that can be done to a Buell. |

I love the build idea. It looks similar to the "yes she can Buell" with the minimalist seat. I want to do the same thing however i am wondering if I can modify the xb swing arm to use the s1 penske shock. Any thoughts? |

Anything can be done but your tuber shock is a pull shock so as long as it is pulling on the compression stroke it can work will just take some engineering |
