Im sure its all copy and paste, but you do realize this made no sense, right? Pretty much youre stating that if you own a tube frame Buell to join to keep the XB on the road. You guys are really a class act |

I really don't care about syntax, spelling, grammar, etc., RE: our furrin' friends what I really DO care about are their products, posts, attitude, etc. we're richer here for their presence on BadWeb - Twin Motorcycles is a BIG win! |

It would seem to make more sense to post here....Unless there's secret money to be made by having a page on FB...........but there I go being logical...... |

Ballbusting for the sake of ballbusting. If I tried to post something in Dutch it probably would be less than perfect... Seems to me Easyrider is only interested in helping Buell riders. Who cares if they post in more than 1 place? |

We also will make a better index system so for maintenance people can lookup easy stuff when working on there bike |

Yep, I am another one that refuses to use Facebook...for ANYTHING. It's not a lack of ability, it's a matter of privacy and annoying 'features' of their site. Not me. |

I think its a great idea although I am getting lost in all the Buell groups on Facebook now. The rubbish thing about Facebook is that it is not searchable so no chance of anything as useful as the Knowledge Vault. Great idea to make the Twin Motorcycles site to be searchable but it only contains Twin Motorcycles info. Would be great for Easyrider to populate the Knowledge Vault so the information is concentrated in one place... |

We are a company, and al data need to be used and stored by company policy's. When facebook is down we are lost. When badweb is down we are lost. We mirror our data on more then 1 server. We are starting to be a source of info for people that own a buell. And we are learning how to use different systems. We are also building a new website Soon we will release the electronic system to find all OEM parts and see if a part is obsolete if tehre is a replacement part. This tool we will also use on the new website. Our company's in the different country's like France or GErmany have there own local needs for publishing and storing data. We will do that on 1 big place and then distribute it for people who own a Buell and there needs. I do agree it can be very useful for us to understand the IT infrastructure behind Badweb and see if we can come up with a more IT friendly way to upload data to store it on 1 central knowledge place too. |

Facebook and Badweb both serve a purpose. I love the Facebook groups because it is nice to just have random pics of Buells popping up in my Newsfeed. I also love the "What We Did Today" pics that Twin Motorcycles posts. They are a lot of fun to look at and provide a neat view of what kind of traffic comes in and out of their shop. As for the grammer thing... People should chill out a bit. Its a global world out there and English is not the only language. If it helps keep my Buell running I don't care if they post in Klingon! |

I don't want to use facebook but I really like the twinmotorcycles web site. I enjoy seeing the photos and reading the explanations of the work you do and the parts you make. Thanks |

I don't read Klingon, but share the sentiment Koz. I joined the group, why not? It's certainly safer than riding with unfamiliar riders. Thanks for the efforts in and for the Buell community Easyrider. |

It's a great idea for a group and although I am not a member I am a great supporter of TM having been a customer for many years. I was a little disappointed to see posts deleted that had links to alternative suppliers than TM. To help Buell riders, we need an impartial group, just as BadWeb is, to support the brand in the most efficient way and to let the rider decide what information and what suppliers to use. Keep up the good work Easyrider but give peace a chance... |

I am happy we already have Badweb and we don't need a new forum in the world. We have company policy's i can't help that there are rules to post in our groups Sorry. |

I myself am not a FB user, however, their is a whole other generation that does and if it helps them to keep the bikes going why not - the more merrier. |

Dris: I think you are doing a fine job and the need for the vetting process has been proven by the way folks have infiltrated and renders past groups useless. We even had folks try to get into the Buell Employees group because their cousin worked for Sea-Doo. You have to have those requirements. I am among that group that would never get near Facebook after seeing what they do with personal information. But, as has been pointed out, there are an army of folks who live on it 8 hours a day and depend on it for nearly every element of their life . . . it's a place, as a vendor, you pretty much have to be. I admire your continuing energy and the help you've provided Buell owners. All the best, Court |

One thing that always amazes me is the level of excitement about Buell motorcycles from folks in Europe or in general outside of USA. Just based on my observations during my short trip to Italy and France this past summer, it seemed to me that folks over there love "naked" bikes and they love technology. While I didn't see any Buells during my trip, Buell bikes, especially tubers fit the bill. I lost count of the number of times I wish I had my X1 and I really missed it during our drive from Milan to Monte Carlo....You guys really know your bikes....Keep up the good work and please share pictures of your customer bikes. |

Court's point about exclusive membership in online groups reminds me that my membership in the Linkedin Buell group has been pending for over a year. I understand I don't belong in the employees, or power-sports professionals group, but a group that states it's purpose, "This group is for anyone and everyone who is interested in the world's best motorcycle, the American built Buell.", I would hope would let me join. There are quite a few names here on Badweb that I recognize in its members list. One more thought: To all the friendly contributors of Badweb content, the corporate sponsors, and most importantly, to all those hardworking people who make this forum what it is, depite having real paying jobs too, thank you. You make owning my Buell feel like I'm already part of an exclusive fraternity group. |

My LinkedIn invite has also been pending for a while in that group. Of course, my linked in profile does not reflect any of my time in the Motorcycle industry, since it was a while ago and I don't want to give a hint of just how freaking old I am. |
