Google, Poly olefin heat shrinkable tubing I have never seen braided heat shrink, but heat shrink is made in large sizes and many colors, I used some 4" at work on an umbilical, The 1125 uses it in place of hose clamps on the water pump |

I use this stuff for all of my custom wiring, it appears to be the same type of stuff... its expandable and collapses back down, you have to cut it and then hit it with a lighter or some thing similar if you don't want to use their "hot knife", I also terminate it with heat shrink. I keep all sizes on hand. home page of all materials: http://www.cabletiesandmore.com/BraidedSleeving.ph p what I typically purchase: up to 257F with a melt temp of 446F http://www.cabletiesandmore.com/ExpandableSleeving .php check the home page there are higher melt temps available but I figure with the wiring I am doing if anything is getting near the melt temp of this stuff I've got other issues for sure! |
