I ordered gears 35796 and 35797 and are a little mixed up now what goes where. I have the manual but it does not show how many teeth on which gear so I can verify I am putting this thing back together correctly. Any one know where I can find this detail ? |

Find a copy of the illustrated parts breakdown and look at the picture. |

I think I have the gears in correctly any way to verify: should I be able to move the drum and the gears switch ? |

If they are turning, yes. The dogs will not line up with their slots in all gears when at rest. While turning the gears slowly, you should be able to rotate the shift drum (with the pawl assembly off) from 1-N-2-3-4-5 in a single smooth series of motions. |

That will interfere with performance nine times out of nine. |
