there is a pressure regulator that is repairable, the punp it self is not. sorry it said m2 in your profile. the pump has a schrader valve on the outlet fitting to connect the test set to. |

ok well I finally had time to test the fuel pressure and well its the pump the highest the pressure went to is 5 psi so I will be looking for a new pump, I saw a few on ebay for like 30-40 dollars, figure I get what I pay for, so I will be getting the ford one and going from their just hope that really is the issue. |

I would test the pump first. If it's still good all you might need is the pressure regulator and filter. |

For these bikes where can I find a pressure regulator at and and filter?? As far as testing the regulator how can I do that? |

I tested mine by pulling the pump off and placing it in a container filled with gas. I attached some gas line to it and put that end in an empty container. I hooked it up to the harness and turned the key. It looked like it was pumping more than 50 psi. Not very technical, but it worked for me. Regulator-P0166.k Filter-P0806.k I ordered them from one of the online harley shops. The regulator was 40 bucks and the filter was 15 i think. Plus shipping. |

ok well new update finally she is running perfectly..turns out it probably was not the pump but went ahead and did it..i took it to a shop he cleaned it up it was the pressure regulator clogged up. I order a new one from Harley but I did not need it so I am goin to see if Harley gies me my money back. |
