Just picked up a 02 M2L for a steal of a deal. Had to save it before a chop guy got it. New muffler, front turn signals, license plate lights and mirrors and she's street legal. Fun part I didn't know about was the ez-out broken off in the exhaust stud. But 8-10 hrs and a dozen+ dremel bits and she's rolling. Now I have a last year tuber and XB. |

Looks like a good deal... I'm surprised to see black engine outer covers, was that ever stock on M2? Maybe going for a Harley look black & chrome, & are those flames on the tail piece? Looks like several opportunities to tailor it to yourself. Sound of the Dremel always makes me wince, sounds like the dentist's office... |

I've been trying to figure out if the black engine is factory or something a previous owner did. There is a kind of real flame design on the tail that was sprayed on right over the decals and a Darth Vader face on the windscreen. Trying to decide if I want to change the color, never been a big fan of black bikes.

Nice deal, now you have to paint it dandelion yellow to go with your handle. (That's an English joke, you'll have to google it.) |
