So this afternoon my wife was going through a bin of old stuff that she had gotten from her dad. While going through it she pulls out this 1997 NFL season preview magazine. When flip the magazine over I am blown away to see John Elway posing with what I believe is an S3. It is not a Buell ad, but I have never come across this picture before. So I thought I would share it with all of you. Enjoy....

At least one of them has good taste. I guess Aikman picked the short straw. |

I've heard the name. I guess he's NOT a NASCAR driver? Well, if I ever get stuck next to him on a plane, now I can ask him if he still has his Buell. |

met Elway a few years back I was working at a photography studio and he was in to shoot a commercial Nice guy We were allowed to bring one item in (each) to get autographed. I chose a football. I just gave that ball away to a Broncos fan two months ago. That was the first time out of a cardboard box since getting the thing signed back in 2004ish as for Troy drawing the short straw- what? Stupid comments... |

elway is a hall of fame QB from the Broncos I was not a huge fan but to my brother inlaw he was/is god. My guess is they did not own these bikes they were provided for the shoot. |

Be careful not to poke your eye out on the frame! Fat Boys, choppers, each to their own, I suppose. |

If you look closely, those are computer renderings done over photos of the real Buell components. That page is also from 2008 and I don't see any evidence that they found ten people dumb enough to want one. It also looks like Cheetah Choppers was a spinoff of Cheetah Trikes. If you had this and a case of Brawndo, you too could be president of the United States:

You do have that Herman Munster look going on in the back, though. It needs a 4' high naugahyde King/Queen seat for the passenger and maybe some iron cross mirrors. |
