Put an M2 tank, an M2 flyscreen, and an M2 seat and tail section on that bike, and it would be beautiful! |

Tank looks stolen from a Ducati 750 F1 Looks pretty good to me, but what's the point of this faux flat-tracker? Dumb to start with an M2 as the base model. The 'slowest' Buell, take away it's advantages (the SEAT) and what do you got? Just a styling exercise, and the number plates make it seem a real "poseur". |

M2 was built to be the slowest Buell, doesn't have to be.Just build the motor,change the shock and springs and you have a sweet handling(not a poser HD)IMO |

M2 was built to be the CHEAPEST Buell twin. Not the slowest. Tractable cam profile for all-RPM torque and minimal power peaks, carburetor and right-side-up forks for simplicity and low cost. No aluminum tail section. No bags. Hell, until '01 it didn't even come with a tach from the factory! Even stock the M2 handles great. I'd have left my 01 alone...except that I'm 6'4" and it was an M2L. Needed normal height, and since I was lifting it anyway...I put USD forks on it. If you haven't ridden an M2...you should. Much more going for that bike than just a seat. |

just thought i'd point out, the term Cafe Racer is used very loosely by people who don't know what it meant. the real cafe racers did not even call there bikes cafe racers. they did it. in GB put a record on juke box & see if they could ride a set distance on the road & get back before record finished. it was hard n fast ........ |

Doing the tonne at the Ace cafe! I appreciate everyone's comments. While the pictured bike is not for everyone's taste and blasphemy on the altar of EB for some afficionados, I thought is was an interesting design...esp the minimalist tank that emphasizes Buell tube frame engineering. The 19" wheels with race rubber are pretty trick, too. |

Also forgot, yes my friend mentions the Ace Cafe as one of the cafe's he used to go to also the bizy bee he had a Norton frame with an old Triumph pre unit Bonny motor that was destroked so it could rev high, some old tuning house in GB did the engine build. i love my Buell Tuber! |
