Does any body know if the S3 mounting brackets and hard side saddlebags will fit or modified to fit on an S2?

I looked for a long time to find a set of S2 to S3 bags conversion kit. Never located any. I had James Banke cut, bend and weld a set of S3 mounts to fit my S2. Many thousands of mules and they work great. This is the only Pic I have….hope it helps. They front/top of the mount sits on the rear tail piece mounting bracket and thru bolts with a longer bolt.

A great improvement over the S2 bags.

I recently purchased a conversion rack for S3 bags on an S2 for what I thought was a great price...all things considered...anyway, the price was cheaper than most other sources. I got it for 360.00.

if you are looking for one try Latus HD and ask for Joe (she was very helpful!). this was not the list price so I had to "negotiate" a bit, I quoted some other prices I had seen them for in the past and asked about active duty military discount since some HD shops still offer them. I had seen it for 340.00 once a while ago but I think that was a clear the shelf of all Buell parts type of price. she offered that she could not go that low, but she did get as close as she could. call Latus HD, ask for Joe, she was great help!

there are other parts that go with it and she had access to some of them. I got these part numbers from a parts break out of the entire kit when it was offered as a full kit.

rack: L1025.8
bumper sleeve: c3012.E
Bumper: c3011.EA
End cap: (not avail): c0173.8

there were other parts in the kit as well, turn signal relocator brackets, and turn signal wire extensions...cant seem to find those part numbers...
