Hate the paint job. Hate that air cleaner. Hate those grips. http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj1/kylesmoker/ 20130812_131200_zps8d951c46.jpg Hate that exhaust. Hate that derby cover. http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj1/kylesmoker/ 20130813_163712_zps6bc2ad71.jpg Hate that foggy headlight. Hate the fact that I took this pic while waiting for my wife to show up with a gas can. http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj1/kylesmoker/ 20130813_163723_zpsb990a6ef.jpg It makes me smile, though. And all that stuff that I hate is pretty easy to change. |

You could probably get good money for the plastics as a set if if it's in good condition. Same with the exhaust though you may want to hold onto it for awhile and check reviews, I love my V&H but it shakes apart from time to time. All in all a nice bike and you can fix the things you don't like one by on until you have it the way you want it. Congrats. |

Just repaint it its not like there are that many plastics on it that would be my first step as that I think is the biggest and one of the easiest to fix. Then probably the exhaust. And Idk about the air filter if you want we can trade? I sorta like the look of it on those bikes I've got the forward facing cone one on mine. |

Congratulations on the new bike. Headlight looks like a bulb blew and smoked up the reflector and lense. You should probably hate that broken turn signal stalk while you're at it. They can do that just from the shaking. Ditch the Harley parts (derby cover, hyper charger) and you'll be a lot happier with the bike. I concur with Azrael, (paint looks to be nice quality) you might be able to sell as a set (include the seat) for enough to get a set of tires and new body work. Those Force exhausts are supposed to be pretty nice, too loud for my taste, sell it for stock + Supertrapp, or factory race system. Anyway, conrats again. Welcome to the blissful madness of Buell ownership. |

cool I think someone made it their own.. Not for everyone but a nice start . The price for different plastic can vary greatly . Post it up here for a trade with the color you like and I bet you find a taker.. To post pics use the links to the right and click on IMG and then paste it here . you got WAY more bike than I started with. And my end results are below.. Welcome to the machine.. |

Would it damage the plastic to just try and remove the paint with a light liquid stripper? |

why strip? Sand, primer, seal, paint.... |

Thanks, guys. Tll130, do you have pics of your setup? Lynrd, I'm with you. My background is in auto body, so no big deal... although the next few days are supposed to be beautiful, so it won't get done right away. |

And as far as the exhaust, yes, loud is a good word for it. I have a D&D can here from my last X1, but I'd need to find header pipes to make it work. |

All easily fixable. The hard part is finding a clean bike in good mechanical condition. Your pics: I'm on twelve years as a tuber owner. Wouldn't have it any other way. Guys at work make fun of my bike, like it's the only sportbike I could afford. They shut up when I tell them I still own it because it's my favorite of everything I've rode. |

I do smoker but for some reason I can't post it it says the file size is to big(trying to post from phone). But I'm repainting it a black with crimson red. I've got the same air intake as Arizona buell. Hey Arizona I've got a question for you are those reusable? Like the k&n or do you have to buy a new filter? |

"Hate that derby cover." Yep. There was one of those on my S2 when I bought it. May I suggest one of these? http://www.ebay.com/itm/WRINKLE-BLACK-94-03-SPORTS TER-DERBY-COVER-CUSTOM-CLEAN-SPORTY-XL-BLACK-OUT-/ 251305341701?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash =item3a82f73305&vxp=mtr#ht_936wt_865 I replaced the bare aluminum one on my X1 with one of these, and then replaced the chrome farkle on the S2 with the bare cover from the X1. Much better. |

Yes Tll I believe they are similar to the K&N filter , should use air filter oil . But I guess it depends on the one you buy . Two questions for Rick , Is your drive belt tight kinda looks that way in picture . And what's up with the angle of the battery?? |

I guess the battery looks right after looking at mine , just looked like it was a steeper angle sorry. |

Chalk it up against my poor taste but I kind of like those plastics/colors. I'd be willing to swap with my black plastics minus my black chin spoiler if you're interested. |

Kalali, I'd love to, but there are a few bad spots that are bubbling up and flaking off. Arizona, the belt was way tight, that pic was when I picked it up at the Honda shop after a new rear tire. It's been corrected. |

Well, today I bought a cheap laptop to use solely for bike and car tuning. My home computer is a Mac, which has always been a snag when I'm trying to do stuff like this. Anyway, the bike has been running poorly... I picked up exhaust gaskets and new plugs today, I guess the first step will be gaskets, tps reset, and check codes. Here we go... |

Be careful if you loosen the belt after it has been tight like that. The belt has already been stretched out from being so tight, so if you give some gas, it might snap. |
