Does anyone know about setting up the dual front brake on a 99 Cyclone? I was considering changing out the forks but maybe that is not necessary? Any information at this point will be of great help |

AFAIK, the piece that lets you put another Buell 6 pot caliper on the other fork leg is unobtainium. I would imagine one could be machined. |

But the only ones I've seen are for upside-down (inverted) forks... |

Why do you want to do such a thing? If that brake isn't standing you on your nose, the pads are contaminated, the disk has oil on it, or both. |

If you just want a regular dual-disc setup (not the usual diameter of a single-rotor) there are at least two sponsors in that section that sell a bolt-on kit. There may be other places from which one could obtain it. Runs about $1,600 -ish. Looks like a conventional ducati dual-disc setup, its Brembo as I recall. Of course, then the discs could be swapped out for ceramic, so it could be pretty cool. |
