This past weekend I had my first crash. Low speed right hand turn at a crossroads and washed out in some gravel. Ripped off the right peg and rear brake pedal and bent the master cylinder push bolt/rod. Can this be straightened? Can it be replaced? Or am I looking at replacing the entire master cylinder? Any help appreciated! rocky '99 Cyclone |

The rod is totally replaceable. Part number should be 42248-98Y. |

that's what i wanted to hear! is it a simple screw out/screw in job, or will i be monkeying with the cylinder itself? couldn't quite tell from my parts book. |

Snap ring holds the rod in place spring pressure and brake fluid are behind that so get a catch pan. |
