I have an old 67 BSA Royal Star and I just noticed that BSA also offered a Thunderbolt, Lightning and a Cyclone model. Anyone know where the Buell names come from? I'm trying to trade my BSA Royal Star for a Thunderbolt so I'll have a BSA and a Buell Thunderbolt. |

No info on name origins, but if you search Buell and or Thunderbolt on FleaBay you will get a lot of BSA stuff.. |

Actually, to start with, they were names for weather phenomenon... Seriously, though, I have noticed that as well, as well as some significance of the Pegasus symbol in british motorcycling. In fact, I like the BSA "Thunderbolt" decal so much, I ordered one up for Veronica...It will look better than the scratches it covers... |
