Will post more maybe this weekend in the for sale section but short story is too many bikes, not enough time to ride and I need to free up some cash for a trip to Hawaii. 2001 X1 Red Racing Stripe. Have ALL original parts to go back to those plastics. Probably looking for $4500 or so. Again, I will post an official for sale ad this week with all mods and details. In Portland Or. nate |

I don't usually care too much about x1s but that is quite a bike. Wish I could have more than one, but its my own fault for getting married... |

No. Stand firm gents. My wife knew from the get go that my bikes are non-negiotable, off the table. I usually have between 5-9 bikes in my garage. My core doesn't get touched and others after I fix up and want something else I normally sell for profit which she likes! She knows my core are valuable and in a pinch would help out the family finances. Besides she has 4 dogs (I tell her it her's) and tell her they cost me money in food, vet and boarding bills! I don't owe a dime on my bikes, sell parts and fixed up bikes to fuel my spending and they don't need to eat. |

This is my decision, not hers. I go through phases of building something then getting bored and selling it and moving on to something new. I have done it on countless cars, jeeps, and bikes. There is always something new to build nate |

LOL! That wasn't directed towards you Nate, I was laughing at Jolly's comment, it was funny & I was being a little funny. I know you have many other toys. My wife supports my habit and i'm sure yours does too & Jolly's will!!!! |

yep, future wife (less than 30 days to the moment) understands completely!! and like you, would sell any or all bikes in a heart beat if family ever needed money, however she has been taught that her life decisions should not come at my cost... great woman and appreciates the 10 bikes in the garage...in fact, she mowed the lawn last weekend while I worked on the S3T leaking push rod tube problem!!!.. great woman!... I always tell her that if any bike has to be sold, the Bonneville that I bought her is the first to go...she gets VERY defensive about selling "her" bike!!! humor recognized and appreciated!!! |
