Is anybody using one of the shock kits to convert to a conventional style shock? I was thinking about making one and was wondering if it was worth the effort. Or if I should fork over the cash for a penske or ohlins. http://www.microsofttranslator.com/bv.aspx?from=it &to=en&a=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.rbtmoto.it%2Fmodules%2Fb %2Fviewcat.php%3Fcid%3D36 Thanks Matt |

looks a nice kit at first, but i see two points that really should be double shear....first on the long rod at the shock end, second the rearward shock eye..... |

weird. Onespeedpaul! 'shear' like things that get cut off on impact right? I agree, pretty expensive sacrificial parts. |

That was one of the things I was going to change. I was wondering if it performed well or if it was just another show piece. |

double shear refers to a pin or mounting point supported on two sides which requires double the shear force to break the pin. |
