I just blew something on my S1. Long ride. Thought it was a front wheel bearing kind of tick tick bearing grinding and failing kind of sound. nope...that sound of catastrophic engine failure just before it happens. sound is coming from the front lower part of primary. thinking either rotor or crank... shut the bike off and left it at the gas station. picked it up with a buddy. I got the primary off and my rotor and clutch. everything looks fine in the primary. Oh and BTW baker 6 speed is damn sexy tucked away in there. So next step is tear down to check my crank... Im just glad I got the X1 going. It was like they know i can only ride one

Damn nice looking bikes. Bet you saved more damage by shutting her down instead of limping her home. Smart thinking. |

I'm really digging that headlight assembly and the finish on the frame on the X1. Who makes that headlight. Not a VROD, is it? Any close up pictures possible? Nice bikes. |

The headlight on the X1 is a vrod light with a visor. not too sure if im sold on that visor yet. gonna take some more pictures of the X1 in the sunshine later on today. Any requests on what you want to see close up? I will be taking close up shots of my custom hidden ducati brake setup and force exhaust hanger mounts and other lil tidbits that were a pain in the ass to do The Paint on the S1 is nice but Im thinking of changing it up. Although everything is carbon fiber so I need to find a painter that can deal wih that. The fuel tank is the only thing that isnt carbon...even my headlight bucket is carbon from a ducati... The more i dig into the S1 the more im thinking of putting her away in the corner till winter.... 88 kit? |

same regulator. just gotta wait till tonight to do the swap and see if I find any other lil gremlins... I did a regulator bleed test and checked the ground wire. The regulator is pooched. Its calling for rain for the next 3 days so hopefully i can work out all the bugs before the sunshine |

I got power but it wont hold idle now... I shut off the 02 sensor. I got it up to operating temp and attempted to take it for a quick ride. it does not like anything less then 2k rpm... and when i came to a stop sign it held up at 2k rpm and took a few seconds to come down then stall. Looks like more X1 gremlins. going to reset my tps again. I have read issues with this exhaust. any tips from anyone with a force? |

I have not used a force, the 2 k thing may be an intake air leak... |
