I'm 5'4" and 130lbs..needless to say the X1 is way too tall for me to maneuver in parking lots and ANY incline by foot lol. That said, what handlebars or clipons do I need to get (links would be great) that would allow me to lower the forks about 2"? I'd really hate to upset my geometry too much but worried about safety more. Thanks!   Ratbuell Posted on Sunday, April 14, 2013 - 10:26 pm:        Get a riser clamp. It will raise the bars in relation to your seat, but you can roll them back to compensate. I would also get an M2L (low) rear shock and mount, so your front end and back end are lowered equally. Another option, try having a local upholstery shop narrow your seat - not "lower", but NARROW. That will allow your knees to get closer together, effectively lowering the bike for you to maneuver because your legs won't be going out-and-down, but will simply go "down".   B1rdman Posted on Sunday, April 14, 2013 - 10:41 pm:        How high of a riser should I go? I may just do a 1" riser which will allow me to lower the front 1.5" and do the rear 1.5-2".
