I installed a clutch lite ramp in my clutch, and now my clutch is dragging. It is adjusted as well as it can be. Has anyone else had problems with these? I also put in a Ulysses clutch spring and I don't think I need them both . |

Something like that is a tradeoff. It's just leverage and a ramp after all. Now you will need to pull it over a longer distance to have the same effect. I'm not sure there is a winning combo here. I'd guess that you could put the original ramp back in and put a weaker clutch spring but then you would run the risk of a slipping clutch. |

I run the Muller type clutch ramp. Stock spring. The EZ clutch extension that mounts to the stock clutch. the hook for the cable end would drag on the inside edge of the inspection hole opening. I'd suggest you pull the cover off again and check the new ramp's operation and make sure the ramp is retracting all the way. I lost some hand strength after carpal tunnel surgery, but still found the new ramp adequate. I wonder if running the lighter spring may also be causing you some trouble. |
