Cool, that looks like a quality product. Can't wait to see pics of it and hear if it is much better than what you are replacing. Did you have to pay shipping from across the pond on top of the top dollar price of the shock? |

Here are some pics and more info: here is a link to our install manual: http://www.twinmotorcycles.nl/artikelen.asp?cid=18 http://www.twinmotorcycles.nl/artikelen.asp?cid=18 &aid=213 AS the core business of Twin Motorcycles is to make OEM replacement parts to support ya all in the future we didn't intend to build a race shock on a specific riders weight but a replacement shock for the OEM. The riders weight for the rear shock is the same as stock (little better ) Look in your manual for your Buell to see what the riders weight is for your specific model. And you can adjust riders hight and preload adjustment |

I was thinking the same as o1x1 along the lines of a Custom shock at a Custom price. Don't misunderstand me I fully understand the machine part of it that is what I do for a living,so I know prototype and all that comes into the finish price. However, for my money this seems a bit steep for not being able to pick your spring rate setup for your weight. Beautiful work by the way. |

For now our goal was to make a replacement product. I never said we wouldent make a tailer made version you can order. We have a long a very long list of parts think off throttle cables clutch cables belts and a lot really a lot more. We have made our short and long term goals. And we try to please you all. We only have 6 more years to go and just not enough time. |

i think that it is worth the price due to the lifetime warrenty if the service is done every two years. that is why i purchased it and will let everyone know how it works. |

Good stuff! Be good to see how it performs. While custom to owners weight is good . If it lasts & trouble free, for a street bike that's important & the two year services is a good move in developing. I blew my stock shock too, just going to pick up my rebuilt stock shock today, guy doing it is a legend in Australia & does MX racers, road racers & most of the top level racers use him. Customs to riders weight & type of riding. But all I want is my shock working right so I can ride ride ride, miss it Cheers |

thats what i am hoping for, a good reliable shock that will perform on the street, and i will abuse it i ride pretty damn hard on the street. i tend to jump on some roads around me due to the crappy roads here in eastern pa. |

Looking forward to your review on this shock, Neil. Not much cash for the Buell this winter though. I bought a Jeep TJ and have been trying to get that where I want it. |

My son put a pic of a custom X1 on my laptop for my screen saver. The shock looks the same. I would love to do one , was hoping for a lower price tag. Whats up with the two year service ?. Will that change as the product is tested? |

from what i understand, is that if you have the shock serviced every two years, at a approved location it will have a lifetime warrenty. |

Group buy sounds interesting 8-) Volume = discount. Good for you for making these available. It is a big nugget to come off with for sure.. Please p.m. me if there is enough interest in this group buy Easyrider I may include myself. I have a pile of money invested already and am starting to put things back together now on my 99X1. |

Talked with Twin Motorcycles. We may look at offering a group buy through 5-0dro. We'd need at least 10 people interested. I can work through some details this weekend if you think we can get that many interested. Post here if interested so that we can have some indication of it would work... |

I'm very interested in a group buy. I'm assuming that it would help out the $886/per price. Surely looks like a finely machined piece and it's usable on several of my bikes. And I have enough blown Showa shocks at this point to begin assembling abstract "art." I'll stay posted to see what develops. |
