I've been trying to find out what percentage Buell actually had of the motorcycle market, if not total...at least for 2001. I found total production numbers and numbers for the X1 (since I have a 2001 Lightning) but, I can't seem to find the numbers. I always see my buddies in biker clubs with the 1%'er tattoo and, I want to know what number Buell had for my patch. I'm proud to roll something different cuz, being like everybody else just sucks ass!

That 1%er patch has nothing to due with the type of bike, you might find yourself in a bit of a clutch if you decide to put a %er patch on |

I don't think a 99%er patch would be too controversial |

Assuming this is an earnest question, here's an earnest answer: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Outlaw_motorcycle_clu b#One_percenter |

Any % patch would be an issue those that where the 1% patch will take offense. I have a 1% club house right down the road they are fine but would not want to give any reason to be on the wrong side! |

The patch I wanted to do was going to have the Buell logo and then the percentage sign under it with “We Don't Care How They Do It In Japan". I know enough 1%'er bikers to tread lightly around that. I'm the only one of my friends with a sportbike that is even allowed to ride with them. |
