Tyler, I'd suggest you do a topic search for turbo specific to the M2 section. I don't recall seeing is discussed here at all over the years (specifically in the Cyclone section that is) so you are not likely to get a lot of hits for this particular location on your search. A similar search in the knowledge vault may provide better results. Many M2 riders are happy with the power characteristics specific to the M2 - ie, torque and broad/flat power delivery - torque. I have seen a couple turbo S2's posted up over the years, so if you cannot turn anything up specific to the M2, the turbos used on the S2's are likely to be your best bet. Good luck. |

Have also seen a couple of posts on S3's with turbo package. |

Aero charger made a turbo kit for the tube frame Buells but they are no longer in production. There has been talk of developing a kit with another manufacturer that has already developed a kit for the XL's, Hellcat out of AZ, but things have not gotten beyond the talk stage yet. |

something I found on google. Looks possible for a tube frame with some careful piping http://www.dragbike.com/forum/showthread.php?62977 -EFI-Sportster-recommendations |

That is a Hellcat turbo. They are made by a buddy of mine named Jason Surratt. That bike is an EFI bike and of course an XL. An M2 or any carbed Buell would require some sorting, he has the efi stuff very well developed already. A Buell would end up needing all new plumbing, but for him that is not a big deal. We had a plan of me buying a donor bike this spring and leaving it with him long enough to develop a prototype. I have been the hold up at the moment as I have not yet bought a donor bike and do not want to use either of my current bikes for the project. In any even, it is still something we are thinking about. His Xl turbo's have been very reliable and his daily rider, a bike with several years of street abuse set a record at Bonniville this year in the side car class. |

The turbo guru around here is FiremanJim He's probably had more experience with hair driers than anyone else here. He's built some BAD and FAST bikes. |

The one in the Motorcyclist ad belongs to sky sanders another buddy of mine. That bike is currently down to the frame in prep for this years trip to the salt. The engine from that bike has spent the better part of last month as a mockup unit for a pit bike he is building. I plan on going to the Bub speed trials this August with him. |

All the Turbo's i've seen on Harleys, the Turbo generates a lot of heat, makes it not that much fun on a longer ride. but might just depend what the climate is where you are. |

The Hellcat turbo's are made and have been developed in Phoenix AZ. You can not get much hotter than that. Heat has not been an issue. One of the pre production XL units caused some discomfort, but the actual production unit ended up running the dump pipe out the front, away from the riders legs and this solved that issue. All the production stuff ended up with a Jet Hot coating that helped a great deal as well. steve |

I am running a IHI RHB5 turbo on my M2 Cyclone, was a draw through but now have swapped to a blow through system. Mikuni HSR carb, holley fuel pump, a cheap chinese fuel pressure regulator (don't get one of these buy a proper one - ask me about the headaches) home made headers and dump pipe. Boost comes on about 3500rpm when loaded up, rides like a normal bike when not on boost. Apologies for the bad pic if you can see it
