Hi, does anyone have a detailed spec sheet for fitting compression releases to Thunderstorm heads? Any help much appreciated. |

i don't think you would need them on 74 inch. also i don't think there is anywhere to mount them. might have to weld a thick spot to put one in. i have a 95 inch twin cam Dyna that has 225 pound cranking pressure & i have the decomp valves & it needs them or starter just goes south quick. But i have a Buell with thunderstorm heads 215 pound cranking pressure & it just fires up instantly the starter does not seem under any stress to turn it. i will be adding bolt in cams soon that will drop c ranking pressure some, or its possible to advance the intake cams a few degree to drop cranking but you loose low end grunt. |

Thanks Lakes. It's actually an 88" being rebuilt. I want to ease the load on the starter & battery if possible. |

There are such things call "COMPRESSION RELEASES" for high compression engines so they will start ... |
