Wondering if anyone has any specs on all the jet sizes (air and fuel)in the stock CV carb? All the manuals Ive seen will only give you main and pilot jet sizes. I recently had a problem with my 97 M2 carby which I traced down to a blocked main fuel circuit air bleed jet. Bike would run ok just cruising around but would run really rough above 4000rpm on full throttle. On the dyno, fuel mixture was off the scale rich at this point and very rich well below full throttle. As the air bleed jet for this circuit is very small, I used the smallest jet drill I had to clear the blockage but it would be really nice to know what the correct size should be. Thanks |

Appreciate the file Buellistic but am really chasing the air bleed sizes for the two fuel circuits on the 40mm carby (the two air bleeds facing the front of the carby) Although I cleared the blockage, I wasn’t happy not knowing the correct drill size. Any change in the size of this air bleed jet is going to have an effect on fuel mixture from about 1/4 throttle and up. |
